Cherry Credits CANtributes to the Chingay Parade 2012

SINGAPORE — February 21st, 2012 — As part of the Chingay Parade 2012 celebrations, Cherry Credits is supporting CANtribute, a Love and Care Project that raises basic food ration items for needy families.

Since 1973, the Chingay parade is one of the most anticipated events in Singapore. Celebrating the rich multi-cultural diversity of our society in harmony, it has been delighting Singaporeans and tourists alike with its dazzling extravaganza of floats and the multitude of performances from various organizations and associations.

The theme for this year’s Chingay – Love, Care and Kindness Everywhere, couldn’t have been more apt for the leading micropayment solutions provider. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, Cherry Credits sees a purpose to have its sponsorship reach out to Singaporeans regardless of race and help them during these challenging times.

With this sponsorship, Cherry Credits raised a total of 560 units of basic food ration packs which were distributed to families staying at one-room rental flats under the care of the People’s Association.
